Jethro n' Jake's Smokehouse Steaks was a total score – their sandwiches packed a flavor punch that'll make you want to return for more. Plus, the friendly service was the cherry on top of our stay! The indoor pool area was a hit with my kids, and we had loads of towels ready for us.
The air conditioner clicked all night, sounding like a door creaking open. Added to that, the toilet felt wobbly, propped up on a plastic thing—just a tad sketchy!

missingWrote a review on Sept 20noisy poolsideroom layout
The layout of some poolside rooms can be disruptive, as guests frequently pass by on their way to the pool area. The lack of a microwave and dresser in the room makes for some awkward moments with kids and luggage. Not to mention, the hot tub can get a bit chaotic with noisy kids jumping in, which might not appeal to those looking for a relaxing soak after a day at the park.

Family looking for a fun time
So, my son had a blast at the pool, both of them actually, especially the swim-up bar where we could chill a bit while he played. And the employees were decent and gave us a good vibe, helping us with whatever we needed during our stay.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but considering the perks, it was still acceptable.

Great staff, but rooms need love
We had a nice stay for 4 nights. Super friendly and accommodating! The kids enjoyed the pool and arcade, but wow, the rooms felt dated. There was no microwave, and the sofa bed was pretty uncomfortable. Breakfast at the bar was decent, though.

Family Fun with Room for Improvement
We enjoyed the spacious Double Room with Pool View! The kids loved the arcade and pool, but the late check-in restricted pool time. Pro tip, inquire about attractions opening hours beforehand to maximize fun. Consider early check-in for a smoother experience.

It was a smart choice for a brief visit in Altoona with value for money. The indoor pool with a swim-up bar was a hit with the kids. Be prepared for noise, especially if your room faces the pool.
